[...] In most cases, raw foodists are vegans/vegetarians. I’ve yet to meet a raw foodist that consumes raw meat (ick!) and rarely meet one that will consume raw dairy. In my experience, animal-based proteins are pretty much essential to good health. For a compelling firsthand account on this subject (written by a former vegan that switched to the Weston Price/Nourishing Traditions diet) check out The Labrawtory. [...]

Hey Kali!

I've been vegan for 12 years, raw vegan for about a year and a half. I thought I finally found the ultimate way of eating after struggling with acne and poor hair for so long. The first year was like a honeymoon - I felt lighter, my skin was glowing and my hair looked almost fabulous. For the past 4 months or so I've been having a really rough time - mentally and physically. I feel tired all the time, my skin looks horrible and my hair is falling out.... My body is so out of whack!

I decided to change my way of eating and see what feels right for my body...but I am a bit...terrified? :) Is there any way you could post a sample "menu" of what do you eat during the day, to get an idea?

Thanks a LOT!!!!

Megi
