You Can’t Out Train Poor Eating Choices

by lilla on April 2, 2009

I just saw the video from Brad Pilon & Craig Ballantyne and though it was funny although a bit over the top. I don’t agree that cardio is a joke, but I do agree that you CAN’T out-train poor eating choices. Check it out:

So in agreement with your today's post title…reminds me of another statement “the body you desire is made in the kitchen” Thanks for visiting my blog…glad to hear Adam's program is kicking some serious butts:)

Allow me to create a little “controversy” and disagree. What the video is basically saying is that you can't possibly out train a bad diet and that isn't really true. Ask Michael Phelps. He ate about 12,000 calories a day, with the biggest contributor to his meals being pepperoni pizza. His diet was anything but healthy, but with 4 hours a day in the pool and another hour each day in the gym, this guy has little if any fat on his body. He literally ate whatever he wanted and didn't gain fat because he out trained his own diet. I know he is an exception, but it is definitely possible. I personally found that I could eat 4,000 calories a day for 4 months and only gained 1% body fat as a result because I trained hard enough to keep the fat off. Just offering the other side of the spectrum on this issue.
