Workout Switcheroo

This week I began a new workout schedule. Instead of strength training 3x/week, I will be training 2x/week. Carlos and I discussed this change last week when my strength training started to plateau. We both felt that after 5 weeks on that schedule, my recovery was starting to suffer and preventing me from making gains, especially since I’ve been running outdoors and still taking athletic conditioning classes .

So today after two days of rest, I was able to increase some reps – YAY! Next strength session is Thursday and I will try to raise the weight on those exercises in which I’ve made the most rep gains.

    Great Lilla, it's good to find out what's going on when we plateau!! Well.. if your body asks for rest, give it... beause remember that there's nothing better than challenging weights.!!
