Well, you can’t get any better instruction on using the Quad Blaster than from the inventor himself, Carlos DeJesus.
It’s amazing how the seemingly simple design of the Quad Blaster can deliver such a wallop of a quad workout! When I first got on it, I felt as if I might fall back and the board was going to come up and smack me in the face like a cartoon (except not very funny!) But you have to trust the QB design and just lean into it.
The most important thing is to try to keep your torso upright and bend your knees until your quads are parallel to the floor. This alone can take some time to achieve and is something I’m working towards. It’s really a great alternative to squats too. I especially like it when doing aerobic circuits of upper and lower body exercises. Unlike barbell squats, my arms and back get to rest completely before my next upper body exercise.
Here is a video round-up of Shredders getting Blasted!
Adam Waters – Say Mercy to the Quad Blaster
Michael Mahoney – The Workout Time
Mike Groom – Day 351
Kali Lilla – The QB and Me on my Bday
Who will be the next brave Shredder to join this list and take the QB for a spin? Hmmmm?
