Nike+ Challenge: August Meltdown Recap

The August Meltdown is now in the history books and I wanted to give a big shout out to the Shredder+ Team! UberShredder+ Lynda of 130 on My Way led the team with an astounding 128 miles and came in fifth place out of 33 entries. Woohoo Lynda! You’ve made us all proud.

Lynda has a bunch of great strategies to keep her going such as powering up on green smoothies, listening to audio books and recruiting her hubby. She’s also started mixing in different workouts, thanks to the sage advice of Carlos DeJesus. Now she takes turns walking hills, level ground and doing HIIT sessions. Sounds like a great plan that we can all take a page from!

Dede posted a whopping 121 miles and came in seventh place – AWESOME! Dede is quite the athlete. What she does in one day, take me a good long week. LOL. Check out her blog Deedle and see what I mean.

Representing the boys, Andrew of Blood, Sweat and Tears logged in an impressive 79 miles and Debbie of Can We Talk clocked in a solid 38 miles. Great job, guys!
