Back on Track Literally

by lilla on September 4, 2008

Today was Day 2 of Warp Speed Fat Loss – cardio only. So I went to the outdoor track after being absent for a month. I had to force myself to get up early again to reset my internal clock and this is the only way it’s going to happen. I’ve been an early riser most of my life, so this past month of getting up late has really thrown me off.

Made it to the track later than I had hoped and the sun was hot! The old regulars were there and I felt guilty for being away for so long, as if they were looking at me and saying “tsk, tsk.” LOL.

But it was a good cardio session and I’m so glad I went! I love getting my exercise done first thing in the morning. Then I don’t worry about it for the rest of the day. I started with the WSFL intervals and used the bleachers for the sprints – tough and a good glute workout! Then I rested and did a session of steady-state cardio.

So even though it’s only two days, I feel renewed and “into” training again. Once I really get this sleep thing in order, I know I can go massive again. I have huge PRW coming up that is really motivating me. More on that to come!

    Hey Angie and Lynda,

Day 3 of getting up early and it's finally working because I'm falling asleep earlier in the evening too. Poor circadian rhythms really affects my health, so glad to be getting this back in order. How hot is it in Ottawa, Angie?

The PRW is off the richter scale, Lynda! I just want to make 100% sure it's going to happen before I announce it. Can you guess what it is?

Getting up early is sooo great, but not that easy to do. Rest is such a big factor when you exercise a lot. Glad to see you getting your training going...now am awaiting your news on the PRW...what can it be?
