I've always heard people proclaim that chocolate is high on the ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) scale but I could never really find the proof - until now. I found this study from the USDA that compares the ORAC values of food. The top five per 100 grams in descending order are cloves, cinnamon, oregano, tumeric and cocoa powder. I just got a new glass straw from Glass Dharma. Love it! :) I chose the 8" smoothie size with green decorative dots. The dots are key, so it doesn't roll off the counter and break. I just made these little raw canapes last weekend for friends. They were really yummy and cute. Rolling them up and tying them with the chive without tearing it - tricky! Here are the delicious raw chocolates that my niece and I made yesterday afternoon. We recorded a video and we can’t wait to share it with you! She is quite the little ~~bossy~~ director telling me where to stand, what to say and how to do it! LOL – she takes after her aunt I’m afraid to admit.

Since this vid is almost ready, I’ve made a change to the video schedule and will be uploading it next. Stay tuned for the 8-year old drama queen and her sidekick aunt.

Wow, that looks mouthwatering! I try to stay away even from the healthy chocolate, in order not restart old unhealthy habits. I had a piece of home made organic Tiramisu as cheat meal past Sunday though ;-) (it won't be at least another 6 months till the next one I am afraid)

They are so good! I'm not going to say there no calories but I REALLY believe the body reacts differently to raw food. You wouldn't BELIEVE how much raw chocolate, crackers and cookies I've been eating and NOT gaining weight! Honestly I can't believe it.
