Warp Speed and Raw Crackers

by lilla on August 19, 2008

I’m starting week 2 of Warp Speed full-speed ahead! I like the different exercise pairings in Warp Speed and today included one of my favorites: heart-pumping kettlebell swings coupled with step-ups. I was able to increase the weights slightly on these since last week’s session. Then I followed with intervals on the treadmill. My ankle is feeling better, so I’m going to try running outdoors again. I downloaded the Warp Speed audio files so I can listen to them during my intervals and cardio and get the timing perfect! Should have done this sooner, but better late than never. :)

I have some yummy raw crackers in my dehydrator right now. I made a batch of red pepper, walnut crackers with flax and hemp seeds. I call them my “Oh My Omega Crackers.” Walnuts, flax and hemp seeds are wonderful vegetarian sources of omega fatty acids. The batter is so good, that half of it didn’t make it into the dehdrator. LOL. That’s the nice thing about raw food – I have no guilt about eating raw crackers like I do with store-bought packaged crackers. All the ingredients in the OMO crackers are wholesome foods with enzymes intact.

Tomorrow I will be posting a new video. So tune in to find out what raw food staples arrived in my RawGuru box!

Will do, Dede! I JUST found out that my gym is going to close for a WEEK! This is totally going to mess with my WSFL. I don't know if I should restart yet again. I really wanted a nice clean 28 days straight. :(

I'm so glad you're doing WSFL and chronicaling your experience here. As soon as all this endurance training is over (6 wks and counting!), I'm going to do that program myself, but I think I might give the nutrition component a shot as well.

I'm also eager to hear the results of your metabolism testing on Friday. If you don't blog it, be sure to tweet it for we inquiring minds! :-)

    Hi Christie,
Let me know if you find raw crackers in WF Cali. Curious. :)

    Hi Lynda,
You can use your oven. Just set it at the lowest heat setting, preferably 115F. Check it with a thermostat. If it's still too hot, you can prop the door open slightly.

Yay! I can get those crackers at my Whole Foods. Glad to hear your ankle is feeling better.

Wonderful to hear that you will tell us how to do the crackers. I guess you´ll have to use a dehydrator? What to use if you don´t have one? I too have that Warp Speed deal, and will look out about the audio files. Can see you are doing all the right things!

    Hi Bec,
I'm really enjoying Warp Speed! I think it's the 10-minute sets that get me pumped the most. The bonus stuff is cool too. Have you tried the audio files yet?

Can't wait to hear about your nutrition plan. I'm going in for metabolic testing on Friday. Looking forward to learning from the results!

I don't think Whole Foods sells any but it varies by location. The WF in California and even Manhattan have a bigger selection. The crackers are easy to make. I'll post recipe on Thurs or Friday. :)

I too like the Warp Speed workouts. I'm going to go back to those workouts after next week. But I won't follow their eating plan. I will post about the nutrition program I'm seeking once I get it.

Lilla, would love to sample a raw cracker...I'll be right over! Do you know if Whole Foods sell them?
