Going to the Simply Raw Festival in Canada

Yay – time for a little road trip! I’ve decided to attend the Simply Raw Annual Festival in Ottawa, Canada in a few weeks. Despite Canada being relatively close to me, I’ve NEVER been there before, so I’m very excited about this new adventure.

It’s a 7 hour drive – totally doable. The annual gathering is a non-profit, free-admission community raw vegan festival with some great presenters like Brian Clement, the Boutenkos, Paul Nilson, etc.

Matt Monarch of Raw Food World, who I met this past Saturday will be there along with his fiancee Angela Stokes of Raw Reform. Also raw triathlete champion, Hetta Wintersteller. I’m really anxious to meet here and learn about her diet. There’s also a film festival, contests and classes. Montreal is just 2 hours from there, so makes sense to swing by there too, eh? Looking forward to hitting the road and filming in real time!
