Resetting the Warp Speed Fat Loss Clock

by lilla on August 13, 2008

Yesterday, I decided to rewind the clock and start Warp Speed Fat Loss (WSFL) again. I did this for two main reasons:

  1. While I followed the weight-training program to the letter, my cardio was not exactly as prescribed by Alwyn Cosgrove in WSFL.
  2. I didn’t take any measurements last week and I think it’s important to have a starting reference point on missions.

Here are my August 11th stats:

  • Bodyweight 102.5 lbs
  • Waist: 25.5 inches
  • Hips: 32.75 inches
  • Thighs: 19.75 inches

Warp Speed is meant to be a short-term fat blast program for 28-days only. And as such, the author Alwyn Cosgrove demands 100% compliance. It is not meant to be life-long program. I kind of like that in a mission because it jives with my short attention span (LOL) and I’ve found that I am at my “mission best” when the time frame is short. If it’s too long, I start out gangbusters, then lose steam, followed by the last-minute-mad-dash to make up for lost time.

The program is also very easy to understand and follow. Frankly, I’m not interested in being a bodybuilder or knowing all the inner workings of twitchy muscle fibers. I have many other interests that I rather focus on. My fitness goal is to be lean, healthy, flexible and strong and I want an exercise program spelled out for me by a professional with a proven track record and solid reputation who practices what he preaches and is a living physical example that his system and/or advice works – like Alwyn Cosgrove, Tom Venuto and Adam Waters. Clearly, these guys know what they’re talking about and walk the talk.

So my 28-day Warp Speed Fat Loss began yesterday Monday, August 11 with 100% compliance and will end on Sunday, September 7 with 100% compliance. Wish me luck!

P.S. Watch for my next “video bite” on Raw (Chocolate) Cacao coming soon!

Hi Debbie, The workouts are heart-pumping and am feeling the DOMS after each post-lifting day so far. So hoping for some changes to happen!
