Food Matters – The Movie

by lilla on August 11, 2008

Last night, I watched a really interesting documentary entitled “Food Matters.”

Food Matters is a documentary film informing you on the best choices you can make for you and your family’s health. Helping you save time, money and effort. In this day and age with so many companies interested in profiting from your misfortune and ill health this film will help keep your money in your pocket and your health in your hands.

Check out the trailer for free and if you want to watch the movie on your computer, it only costs $4.95. If you do decide to watch it, make sure you have 1.5 hours to spare because the $4.95 is per viewing, although you can pause and resume play.

I think a lot of people will find it eye-opening and informative. And one of my faves, David Wolfe, makes several appearances. I would highly recommend it if you’re interested in raw food.

    Both are good!

Juicing WITHOUT the fiber allows one to drink more thus getting more vitamins and minerals in a compact "dose" AND it's is easily assimilated and quickly absorbed by the body i.e. wheatgrass juice or cucumber juice.

Juicing WITH the fiber is great too ESPECIALLY if you're juicing fruit because the fiber will slow down the absorption of the sugar, plus the fiber moves food through the intestines.

If you're juices contain fruit, I think it's best to go with the complete fiber-rich blender juices.

If your juices are high in greens, then you might want to consider just the juice without the fiber for a quick infusion of vitamin/minerals (much tastier and effective than a vitamin pill too!)

Lilla I have yet another question. I see you talking a lot about juicers and juices, and my take was that it´s best to use a blender, and get all the fiber too. What is your take. Juicer or blender? Or both?
