Lilla, thanx so much for the raw food protein info. I do have a sprouter somehwere...will go look and get it going with sprouts. Do you buy yours? Make them? They will be great in any diet...the raw food does make so much sense to me eating food thats basic and fresh. Thanx again.
Lynda

Thank you all! :D

60 miles and now a complete dead stop. LOL. Ankle is getting better but I just know if I risk running on it now, it will never heal. So I'm still sitting on the sidelines and cheering (gulp) everyone flying by!

Debbie,
Problogger book is pretty cool a bit basic, but helpful! Hope to launch a new blog by August.

DeDe,
You can definitely use your blender. If you don't want the pulp/fiber, you can just strain the juice through a mesh bag (i.e. nut milk bag) and compost the pulp for your herb garden. Or if you want it thicker like soup (i.e. gazpacho) then just blend it up and eat it! Megadoses of minerals, vitamins and healthy protein!

Hi Lilla! Congratulations are achieving your goal!! That must feel great. For me, it's as inspiring to watch other work toward and achieve their goals as it is to achieve my own. So, thanks for my daily dose of inspiration! :-)

I really appreciate this info on raw food protein sources. I never would've thought about sprouts! One question, though: Do I have to buy a juicer? Does a blender just make a fibrous mess out of them?

Hey Lilla,

such a great article and post about sprouts. I will add them to my meals as I like them a lot. To be honest, I never thought they could be such a rich source for protein.

Congratulations for finishing your 60 miles goal, hope your ankle will be healed soon.
