Oh NOOOO!!!! Lilla! I'm sooooo sorry to hear about your ankle. Definitely give it a chance to heal, and most importantly, take care of you.

I've always done early AM fasted workouts, too, so I'm also very interested in pre- during- and post-long run nutrition. Since Skwigg turned me onto Rachel Cosgrove's site, I'm hopeful she'll have some good tips.

Lastly, have you heard of Lynne McTaggart's intention work? She's got a new experiment she's preparing which is to be conducted world-wide. Kinda cool stuff. If you're interested, read about it here: http://www.bleepingherald.com/jul2008/intention-experiment

A speedy recovery to you!

Juli,
Thanks for the tips and runtheplanet link! That's just what I needed!

I went to a doc in Kauai and got custom inserts because I overpronate a LOT. The inserts have helped but the impact of the sprints was too much last week. I know it will heal if I take it easy. But sometimes it hard to just sit on the sidelines. ;(
