A crazy day filled with a melange of activity. Here’s the rundown:
7am – Out the door for a 2 mile neighborhood run.
9am – Jog to Crossfit for free class but they’re closed today!
9:01am – Curse Crossfit for being closed and head to gym.
10am – Shredded and showered, jog to farmer’s market.
10:10am – Scored fresh figs and goat’s milk yogurt – yum!
11am – Work on sister’s wedding dvd to give her today at BBQ.
11:10am – Curse self for waiting until last moment to make dvd.
11:30am – Get diverted reading shredder news and blogs.
12pm – Back on dvd project.
12:01pm – Curse MacBook for not cooperating!
12:05pm – Make appt with Apple Genuis Bar at 1:40pm.
12:15pm – Make fruit salad for family BBQ.
1:15pm – Circle mall parking lot looking for a space.
1:30pm – Still circling parking lot.
1:40pm – The Apple genius is diagnosing my MacBook.
2:20pm – The genius’ are unable to fix MacBook.
2:21pm – Curse Apple and race to BBQ.
3pm – BBQ is underway.
3:10pm Newly married sister can’t make it afterall.
All that rushing for no reason. LOL.
The day ended well and I did have heaps of fun hanging with my family especially my 8-year old niece. Hopefully tomorrow will be a chill rest day…with a run…maybe.

* Lucky Number Ten has just joined the Shredder+ Team! Andrew: Blood, Sweat and Tears has accepted the baton and will be running in the “Fat to Phat” challenge. Andrew was one of the original RTP group shredders back in October 2007 and if I recall correctly, running is his forte so he will be a force to be reckoned with! His sportsband is on its way and from his blog, it looks like he plans on making up for lost time FAST. Welcome Andrew!

Yay! I’m on track to meet my personal 4-week goals:
- To burn 7,000 calories in 4-weeks, I need to incinerate 1, 750 calories per week and I made it with 45 calories to spare. Hmmm…a little close for comfort, but ok.
- To run 60 miles in 4-weeks, I need to cover 15 miles per week and I netted 18.55 miles. Nice little 3.55 mile cushion there.
