199 – Thing 1 or Thing 2?

Today’s picture just cracked me up when I saw my crazy hair. But my laziness to re-take the pic is greater than my embarrassment. Can’t tell if I look more like Seuss’ Thing 1? or Thing 2? Debbie, I need your bag!


What is your favorite power song when you workout? You know, that tune that makes you dig down deep for that little extra something-something and moves you to work harder, faster, longer? Please post in comments. Today mine was Good Love is on the Way live version by John Mayer. He’s the best training partner. ;)

**********************NIKE+ CHALLENGE**********************

The Shredder+ Team (S+) is on the run! Today was the first day of our “Fat to Phat” challenge. Out of 21 contestants, Meredith is already in fourth place with 3.04 miles! Lynda logged nearly 2.73 miles and is smoking in fifth place. Juli is in sixth place with 2.03 miles but had problems with her sensor, so it should really be more like 5 miles – Wow! And even though I wasn’t planning on running tonight, I couldn’t just stand by and eat their dust, now could I? So I hit the outdoor track for a mix of intervals, walking, jogging and running the bleachers. Turbulent! I’m now in third place with 4.77 miles. But it’s really not about “placing.” It’s about doing your PERSONAL BEST and CHEERING each other on! Thanks for the motivation, Shredders+.
