Day 152- Knock, knock, knocking on neighbor’s doors

by lilla on May 15, 2008

I’m so desperate to have internet access from home that I actually went knocking from door-to-door at my neighbors homes today to see if anyone would let me access their wifi signal. It was like a scene from Dicken’s Oliver except instead of a little orphan with an empty bowl, it was me with my laptop.
Two neighbors very generously let me try, but my computer just wouldn’t launch a webpage despite strong signals. So here I am back at my second home, the library. The good news is I am supposedly getting home internet access next Tuesday. Yay! Actually, I won’t be breaking out the bubbly until I am online at home in my pjs surfing the shreddersphere.

Thanks to all the comments and advice I’ve received this week, I’ve decided that after Beach Body Shred ends on May 25th, I’m going to revise my ENTIRE shredding plan. Low carbs/calorie coupled with Turbulence Training have gotten me this far but now it’s time to rock the boat because I think I’ve reached adaptation and halted my progress. I’ll be taking the calories up and looking into new and additional training plans and cardio. I’m excited for the change!

Mama, take this blog off of me
    I can’t post it anymore.
I’ve got no internet, so I visit the libraree
I feel gotta go knockin’ on a neighbour’s door.

it must be aweful not having the internet. I don’t know how I’d be without mine.

You’re new training/nutritional plan sounds exciting!

Haha. Original lyrics by Mike. Glad to hear you’re neighbors were willing to fill your bowl except it wouldn’t work. Good luck with your Internet quest! :)

Glad to see another 12 for 12! Woo-hoo.

Am so in awe of you doing your NEW nutrition deal. Just the thought of upping my calories scares me silly. I would know I´d be 30 lbs heavier by the end of the week. Do it! Then tell me exactly how it´s done. There! You´ll be the brave adventurer to lead us all.

Hi Kali….I understand the need to change up things with the program and dieting. Alot of us TT’ers have been on TT for quite some time. I think it would be very refreshing to try out new programs and approaches. I’m doing something a little differently as well the past month or so and can feel and see the changes. Adaptation will always be the enemy in getting to our goals. Goodluck.
