Tip #4: Revving Up Metabolism
by Dr. John Berardi of Precision Nutrition
I recommend more calories than most do. That’s because there’s no such thing as a stagnant metabolic set-point. Instead, metabolism chases intake. So, if you want a bigger metabolism, you need a bigger food intake. And if you’re worried about fat gain with this approach, just use outcome-based decision making and adjust energy (calorie) intake every two weeks based on your results. Not much ‘damage’ can take place in only two weeks. So if you end up boosting your metabolism, you’ll be thanking me eternally. And if it turns out you’re consuming too much, you can just adjust down.

Nothing looks WONKY there in your world, and even like that new hairdo you had hidden away from us. Glad you could enjoy the Communion. Somes days you just have to celebrate!

Thanks Lynda! You’re right – what’s the point of all this discipline if you can’t let loose and enjoy once in awhile.

  • Michael

The table, like you, looks just fine on this end.

    Hi Lilla,

I do get same thing on Safari. The table stretches right down the page occasionally (usually when we you first “go live”). But now, no probs it looks fine.

  • Debbie

Chart looks good Lilla. You’re still at 96+% and doing great!

  • Shari Kraft

No wonkiness here! I love seeing what bikini you’ll be wearing everyday! Sonme day, I’ll be in one too!

  • Joni

Hey great to see you are doing well, enjoying yourself when you should and getting right back on track. Table looks fine to me…but then again I myself am wonky so that’s an issue. Anyway, keep up the good work ms. 12/12!

That’s why I hate the word diet…it’s almost a word synonymous to deprivation. I’d rather call it strategic eating. Sounds better…hehehe! :)

Lil it looks okay now. I was looking at it from Safari as Adam mentioned, stretched right down the page.

  • Your Grateful Cyber-friend, Christy

As stated by everybody else, I too, have not noticed any wonkiness on your chart. I just caught up on your blog and OMG It was ICECREAM CAKE. You ought to get extra bonus points for being able to get through that. Pretty darn impressive.

    12 outa 12! 96.5% WOWZA!

Thanks for the feedback everyone on table wonkiness! :)

You’re right Christy – resisting ICE CREAM CAKE was a heroic effort if I do say so myself. Bonus point for me!
