Day 116 – Eyeballing It Is Not Good Enough

Did my TT2K5 workout in the morning and a quick run in the evening. I feel like I should have given it more effort though. A bit of a lackluster day. I need to ramp up my consistency and start logging calories and measuring food again. I did this consistently in Kauai, but have just been “eyeballing” it recently and I think it’s halting any progress. I weighed in at 105lbs today so no change this week.

    I was getting pretty good at eyeballing it while in Kauai but between all the eating out around ECSS and changing my w/o schedule in NJ, I haven't been as disciplined. I think a few weeks of measuring and logging will get me back on track. Especially since like you said, the last few lbs are the hardest...grrr!

    It's been up and down but I will buckle down and write out my food plan and daily log. It's just been unsettling moving from one home to another. Trying to find my rhythm. But will do it!

    Great work. You're way beating me now, I have to catch up :) I only measure certain things that make a difference when you are just a little over - like nuts. Most of the time I eyeball too, since I am used to what most portions are supposed to look like, and I'm sure you have too from doing it all the time, so you may be better at it than you think. I have gotten better at not eating everything that's in front of me, too, but if you think it's halting your progress, by all means go for it. As we all know, the closer we are to our goals, the harder we have to be on ourselves. Hope you get the progress you are looking for soon!

    Another perfect day on the scorecard though Kali so that is good ! I know you can get back to full intensity if you want to bad enough. BTW thanks for dropping by my place. I've added you to my links (would have anyway even without doing a reciprocal thing as your blog is great).
