Good workout this morning. Still finding those spiderman push-ups in TT2K5 tough! Then the day kind of petered out from there. I had to go car shopping and I ended up eating out – free mini-scones at Whole Foods and way too many walnuts.
My friend and I used to go to Whole Foods around lunchtime because you can always make a meal out of all the free samples. LOL. But now that I’m on a shredfest, this is verrrry dangerous as witnessed today. I’ve made a pact with myself in the past (too many times than I can remember) NOT to buy nuts unless it’s a single serving i.e. 10-12 nuts at a time because once I start eating them, I just can’t stop. But I bought some walnuts thinking it would be a good source of omegas on top of my yogurt and fruit. Unfortunately, they never made it there because I ate them on the road.
In the afternoon, I went for a run but had to walk halfway because I had a tummy ache from the walnuts! So it was all a domino effect day. The only redeeming thing is that my morning workout rocked and the tummy ache killed my appetite, so I ended up just having a cup of almond milk before bed.
So technically it was a 100% day because I did everything I had planned, but it wasn’t my best effort and it was certainly unbalanced. But tomorrow is another day and I am committed to my Beach Body goals!
