Day 52 – Busy Signal from the Universe

Yay – great day on Wall Street! I got an awesome day-trading session in this morning and it almost offset my disappointment with this morning’s weigh-in. As I had expected, I went up in weight by 1.2lbs. That’s what I get for eating an extra 1400 calories in a week! :D But I’m actually ok with it, because I know I will be going up before I go down permanently.

On the bright side, I lost .5″ on my waist. I use a MyoTape Measure so that the pressure is always consistent and checked it 3 times, so I think it’s safe to say that I’m down to a 27″ waist. I also tried on an old pair of pants that I’ve been avoiding in the back of my closet and they fit!

I’m going to continue with TT 2K3 workout again for one more week because I’ve finally moved up to barbell-land on lunges and split squats. Thank God because my arms were getting so long from the dumbbells, my knuckles were grazing the floor!

    Lilla congrats on the 1/2 inch off your waist! See, it’s not always scale weight (as we all sometimes need to be reminded (looking at myself)).

    Interesting tape measure. The hardest to measure for me is my upper arms. Does this tape make it easier?

    Abolutely! It’s like a regular tape measure but there’s a little “catch” on the handle where you can hook the end of the tape. So you can slip your arm through and press the button to tighten the tape snugly around your arm. I love it.

    Lilla, no worries about the weight gain. That’s to be expected. You only gained slightly in the BF% too, so you’re good.

    Debbie, the tape measure is awesome and you can find deals where you get the Accumeasure body fat caliper and that tape measure together in one set.

    Lilla, you are going great! I had a bit of a laugh about you waist measurement, it’s not far off my thigh measurements :)

    I’m sure the Universe can sit back and relax though, your dedication and desire are all you need.

    Hi Lilla, your waist measurement is a great indicator of BF% lost I believe. I need one of those tapes!

    Maybe we can visit a fitness store in NYC and everyone take one of those measuring tapes home with them! I need one too. Nothing wrong with a measuring tape as a souvenir…is there? LOL.
